Q.&A.
lynn asks terryQ. one more thing. i need a text pop up. your story about your gallery experience. what do you want me to put in there?
A. good lord lynn, i have no idea....i have a difficult time even talking about it....the first thing that happened when i walked into the room where the paintings were...i got all teary (the same thing happened when i went to the Metropolitan in June and saw my first real VanGogh, Picasso, de Kooning, Monet's etc.) the whole thing was rather overwhelming. i could have stood for hours looking at those paintings. i really liked seeing the hole in black scratch II, the plastic..and the globs..i mean...what did d. call it..oh yeah "impasto"...after i saw the paintings...carol and i went down the street to the Chelsea Commons, we ate dinner and a had a couple drinks....i tried talking about it and cried....i've decided that everything Paul does is sheer, unadulterated poetry...he is absolutely amazing....the two margueritas i had...my cheeks got numb...i mean really numb. we were walking back to the hotel and i called home...my son is hollering for his father saying.."dad, mom's drunk.." carol grabbed the phone and talked to dan....so if you need text...make up something....cuz' anything i would say would sound stupid....
Q. you know, this is great. will you let me use this? do it like a q&a.
A. whatever you want to do...and thank you for putting the piccies up...oh yeah...and my own personal Kodak moment of Paul McCartney...i was so nervous i couldn't find the button to click for the pic....but I'll cherish that pic of his muffler, hair, right ear and left hand for the rest of my life...
